I used to hate this sort of thing and I still have an atavistic reaction when I see it. When I was much younger I used to react against this sort of evangelism and for me, certainly, it was counterproductive and made me cynical and angry.
Mind you, I am still cynical and angry, but I am saved now: that came about as a result of a long process of one-to-one, which I guess explains why tracts don't do it for me and why I wouldn't use one myself.

The church I grew up in kept a few of the Crusaders comics in their library.

I wonder if anyone became a Christian as a result of reading these or similar tracts, or at least started honestly enquiring about who Jesus is?
Sure they have RB........there are many personal testaments to be found!
