Well...that's one way to do it.
I don't know if it's necessarily the best way. But it certainly is one way. I pray that the Lord will use Ray Comfort's words to bring His Word alive in that young man's heart, and anyone else there that may have heard the Good News.
Now, me for instance, I would have asked that young man if I could buy him a beer, get to know him a bit, find out where he is being had by the world, the flesh, and the devil, relate to him how I also am being had (by the law), and then tell him the wonderful thing that Jesus Christ has done for him, and that one day Jesus will make all things new...including him(the young man)...and then leave it at that.
Then after I leave the young man I would pray that the Lord use my poor words to grab a hold of the young man's heart and make him His own.
Neither is right or wrong...just different approaches to evangelism.
