The more I hear President Bush speak off camera and picked up on live mic’s, I can’t help but understand why all the comedians and liberals make fun of his intelligence.
In the latest ‘live mic’ incident, Bush is overheard talking to Tony Blair about flight time home from the summit.
Bush: Got something to do tonight?
Blair: Go to the airport. Get on a plane and go home.
Bush: Where you going, home? This is your neighborhood. Won't take you long to get home.
You get home in eight hours? Me too! Russia's a big country and you're a big country.
Yeah. No, not Coke, Diet Coke.
It takes him eight hours to fly home, eight hours. Russia's big and so's China.
Yeah, Blair, what are you doing? You leaving?
Blair: No, no, not yet. On this trade thing ... (inaudible) Bush: Yeah, I told that to the man ...
How goofy does it sound when our President, a world leader, is spouting off this kind of kindergarten conversation? My six year old has more articulate conversation than Bush seems to.
Russia’s big and so is China?
You have to be wondering what Blair is thinking. Blair obviously wants to steer the retarded sounding conversation away from the amazing geographical size of Russia and China and focus on the real issue of trade.
Don’t get me wrong, I voted for Bush. Twice. I can’t imagine Al Gore or john Kerry running the country while we are fighting the terrorism war worldwide. But I’m starting to get the feeling that others are really running the country while Bush goes bumbling around the world in a Rainman sort of way.
China, China big. Russia big. 8 Hours yeah, 8 hours to fly home, home. Big, really big. (Dustin Hoffman voice doing Rainman).

Dawg,
We of the conservative persuasion have found that we have been duped by the Republicrats, Bush being the main culprit. Of course, what we have found is that they took the play from the Democrat playbook by continuing to create the reason that they were voted into office to begin with. Democrats rode the coattails of FDR until 1994 and are still trying to spout off the socialist ideology implemented by Wilson and Roosevelt in the Fed; Republicans are continuing to grow government so that shrinking government will be an electable issue.
Bush did himself no service, but perhaps he has his defenders questioning whether or not his critics are right that he is Forrest Gump in the White House.
