Do all roads lead to God?
I’ve heard many well intentioned folks say that no, not all roads lead to God. I disagree. I say that all roads do, in fact, lead to God.
If you consider yourself atheist, your road leads to God. If you're an agnostic, your road leads to God. If you’re a Muslim, your road leads to God. If you’re a Buddhist, your road leads to God. In fact, no matter what you believe, your road leads to God.
The Bible say’s in Hebrews 9:27 that it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. The Bible is clear that after we die, we will stand in judgment before God.
The question is not do all roads lead to God, but rather, how does one get forgiveness of sins and eternal life with God?
You may say, "What sins?" The Bible says in 1 John 3:4 that whoever transgresses the Law commits sin. So sinning is transgressing or breaking God’s Law.
Which Law? The Ten Commandments, God’s moral Law.
Have you broken God’s Law?
Let’s look at just three of the Commandments…
The 9th Commandment is thou shall not lie. Ever told a lie? That makes you a liar. The 8th Commandment is thou shall not steal. Ever stolen something? That makes you a thief. The 3rd Commandment is thou shall not take the Lord’s Name in vain. Ever said something like, "Oh my G**?" Or used His name as a curse word? The Bible calls that blasphemy. The Bible says that God will not hold him guiltless who takes His Name in vain. The Bible says that all liars will have their part in the lake of fire. The Bible also says that no thieves will inherit the Kingdom of God.
That’s the bad news.
But there is good news!
Two thousand years ago, God sent His Son Jesus Christ to Earth. He lived a perfect sinless life. He died a horrible brutal death on the cross for the sins of the world; for your sins and my sins. They buried Him. But three days later, God raised Him from the dead so that you could have forgiveness of your sins and eternal life in Heaven. It’s like this; you broke God’s Law, but Jesus paid your fine.
The question now becomes; how do you receive this forgiveness of sins? The Bible says you must repent of your sins and place your trust in Christ to save you from God’s wrath on judgment day. To repent is not just saying you’re sorry, but turning your back on sin as well. Trusting in Christ is like trusting a parachute. You don’t just believe in a parachute, you must put it on for it to save you.
Once you do this, you will pass from death to life and God’s wrath will pass-over you.

Do good deeds, go to Heaven.
It was interesting to watch the hearings on steroid abuse in baseball put on by the House Oversight & Govt. Reform Committee. It was interesting, I guess, because I was actually watching our tax dollars going down the drain. We all know that's where our money goes, but to really see it is another thing.
Anyway, there was one comment that really stuck out to me in all the hours of the, 'he said, he said' back and forth.
Congresswoman Rep. Carolyn B. Maloney of New York (the name kind of fit) said that because of all the good works of Roger Clemens, he was sure to go to Heaven.
That's what most people believe too. If I can do enough good works, tip the scales a little more in the favor of God, then I will go to Heaven.
I seem to remember God Himself saying unless one is born again, he will by no means enter Heaven. The Bible says that there is none good, no not one. The Bible says that you cannot enter Heaven based on your good works. The Bible also says that salvation is by faith alone in Jesus Christ and not of works, lest any man should boast.
Do you think your good enough to go to Heaven? You want to take a quick 8 question test to find out?
Just click the flashing link on the right side of the page that say's "Are you a good person?" to take the test.

Not another tear.......
It seems ole Hillary has learned what it takes to win; tears.
This time she teared up after being introduced by a public lawyer whom she worked with during her old college days.
Here is the line in which the tears fell....... "Here is the abiding truth we know — you have always been a champion for children. Welcome home, dear friend. We are so proud of you."
Does anyone see the irony and sadness of an introduction like that of a lifelong pro-abortion extraordinaire?
Maybe, just maybe, she was tearing up over the thought of how many babies she has been responsible for being aborted in her lifetime. Maybe the thought of babies being ripped from limb to limb and having their brains sucked out was too much to fathem after being addressed as one who has been a champion for children. Maybe it was time for her to finally set the record straight to all her liberal friends and colleagues that abortion was indeed murder.
Maybe.........
No, alas, the tear was just some fond memories of life on campus and another opportunity to try, somehow, to show the world she is a kind and caring person who has done all she can for humanity.
