No one comes to the Father except through Me."

If 'whosoever' does not go through the Son, then they do not get to the Father. That is Christianity.Dawghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06667201139980869656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20374252.post-73506558580045658012007-01-21T20:52:00.000-05:002007-01-21T20:52:00.000-05:00Waynedawg,
You've summarized the rank heresy of t...Waynedawg,

You've summarized the rank heresy of the post quite neatly. It is classic Universalism and is a lie straight from the pit of hell.

There is much more that could be said about this ancient deceit, but it's roundly refuted by Word of God and no serious-minded, Biblically literate Christian could hold such a patently false doctrinal position.

If all souls go to heaven as the author suggests then Christ was a megalomaniacal liar and is responsible for formulating and perpetrating the cruelest, most heinous hoax in the history of mankind.

Since Jesus claimed He was the only way to the Father, and that none could come to the Father but by Him, he is either God, or a liar and a thief. The Bible teaches the former.

Also note how the author weaves both New Age mysticism ("a white light experience"), and Gnostic secret knowledge ("information was TRANSFERRED" to him/her) into the missive.

I have no doubt the author had an experience, and that experience was certainly revelatory, but the revelation is demonic and un-Biblical.Coram Deohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03504564435400500996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20374252.post-36090207763953159932007-01-21T16:46:00.000-05:002007-01-21T16:46:00.000-05:00I don't know. I still cannot wrap my brain and heart around the idea that would send Gandhi, the Dalai Lama, and, say, Elie Wiesel, to "hell."QuakerDavehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10727729821155579518noreply@blogger.com
